It's the procedure that is considered with the most artistic touch from the plastic surgeon. The
main indication is the accumulation of fat in the arms. The technique is done with epidural block
and sedation or with general anesthesia.
The desired areas are marked and afterwards a solution is injected in order to decrease the
bleeding and then 3 to 4mm tubes are inserted, the fat is then vacuumed. This same fat can be
used to place it in the buttocks and give them more volume and better shape. It can also be
injected in other specified areas.
This procedure is ambulatory, it takes from 2 to 3 hours and recovery can take from 5-7 days. The
cares are minimal.
