Hyperhidrosis is the excessive perspiration which can be treated efficiently in certain parts of the
body, the most common is the axillary, even though it's also presented on hands and feet. A simple
test is done to know which are the sweat glands that are producing excessive perspiration, later the
affected zone is marked and Botox is injected in order for those glands to decrease the production of
sweat, and therefore stop staining clothes.
The patient can go back to normal activities immediately with minimal care. It's an easy treatment,
ambulatory, and done in the doctor's office.
The lasting of this procedure depends on each patient, but normally it lasts from 4 to 6 months and it
can be applied again afterwards.
